Free golf programs - At this site, you'll find a number of handy freeware golf program, including programs to calculate your handicap index, as well as free golf score and stats programs. There are also several lovely, free golf screen savers here. All programs are for Windows 98/95.
E-Mail Y2K - If you lose your E-mail capability, how will you communicate? With paper airplanes, of course! Seriously, this very nifty program lets you customize your own paper airplanes. Just print it out, fold it, and start flying! (1.5 megabytes). For Windows and Macs.
Quake III Clan Calculators - Are you a Quake player or are you involved in a Quake clan, group or Web site? Tranquil Lament Software will make a free custom calculator for you, if you send them your image (which should be no larger than 320-by-200 pixels).
Cursor Fun - Here's a fun, freeware program that randomly changes the appearance of the mouse cursor. It allows you to choose which cursor to change, what type of cursor to change it to, and how often you'd like to swap the cursor. Cursor Fun is great for playing a trick on an unsuspecting user, or for those who get bored easily with their desktop. 160 kilobytes. (For Windows 98/95/NT).
Austin Powers Browser - Give your Internet Explorer browser a "shagadelic" makeover with this groovy, colorful free browser enhancement that celebrates the wacky comedy flick. Yeah, baby, yeah! Note: A "Dr. Evil" version is available here. 1.7 megabytes. (For Windows 98/95 and NT). A Mac version is promised soon.
LOAD TV - A state-of-the-art, free multimedia magazine, LOAD TV offers the best Net-delivered video quality we've seen yet. LOAD also delivers headlines to your desktop from over 400 of the Web's top sites. You may contribute to LOAD's content with your own videos, as well. Note: the initial download is 470 kilobytes, but you must have 25 megabytes of free hard drive space to run LOAD. (For Windows 98/95/NT).
CATrain - Here's an entertaining freeware program from France that'll let you design, simulate and control your own model railway. You can design your own schematics and add features like turnouts, signals and level crossings. A must for railroad hobbyists. Available in French and English. 1.2 megabytes. PostPet - (No longer free, but a free trial version is available). Here's a unique, free E-mail program and game that's also a virtual pet! PostPet is an artificial intelligence program that can "learn" to write E-mail messages to you and your friends. It can also deliver greeting cards, make friends with other PostPets and do other activities as well. This is a free demo; the commercial program won't be released until December. (For Windows 95/98). Available in English, Japanese & German.
BarEyes - Put a pair of animated eyes on your Windows 95 tray. These eyes follow your cursor around; wink and even sleep. Not the most useful program around but a lot of fun.
Fake Format - Drive your friends(?) insane with this cruel prank program. Fake Format is a free "utility" that when executed, gives the appearance that your hard drive is being formated. Your victim will be unable to stop or close this clever, realistic program. It even creates hard drive noise while it is "formatting." (For Windows 95/98).

Super Fred
- First there were virtual pets; now there are "Desktop Buddies." Super Fred is a hilarious superhero cartoon character for your Windows desktop. Watch Fred walk, fall, whistle, pick his nose, sleep, drink and do dozen other silly things right on your desktop even when you work on something else.
Fart Machine - Here's a completely useless freeware program that offers rude noises "for your listening pleasure." Install the Fart Machine, open the program from your start menu, and simply double click on the rude sound that you want to hear. From the wacky guys at Wavhounds.com. (For Windows 95/98).
